Dr Arthur Krigsman
Arthur Krigsman, MD attended medical school at the State University of New York at Brooklyn and completed his pediatric residency at SUNY Brooklyn - Kings County Medical Center. He is board certified in pediatric gastroenterology. Dr. Krigsman has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of the wide range of gastrointestinal pathology common in children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). He has published on a unique variant of enterocolitis seen in chidren with ASD (autistic enterocolitis), detailing the symptomatology and endoscopic/histopathologic character of this disease in this unique, poorly understood group of children. His findings have been presented at scientific and lay meetings in the United States, Canada, and abroad. Dr. Krigsman is the director of the gastroenterology clinic at Thoughtful House Center for Children in Austin, Texas. A satellite gastroenterolgy clinic is located in Long Island, New York.
