Nithya Karthik

Nithya Karthik is a certified bioinformatist through Bioinformatics National Certification in India. While living in India, she worked at Ranbaxy, a leading pharmaceutical company. After getting married she moved to Austin, Texas in December, 2006. She joined Thoughtful House in July, 2008 as a Research Assistant where she performs complex image analyses of the ultrastructure of primate tissues, working closely with Dr. Hewitson. She is currently majoring in Premed and Clinical lab technology at Austin Community College and the University of Texas Health Sciences Center. She aspires to pursue medicine in the future.
